Canine Safe Harbor would like you to meet Desi! This young, female Boxer mix is full of life but also has the gentleness making her a  "Gentle Giant". Desi looks forward to her daily walks & enjoys running the fence with a dog in the outdoor area`s. Desi is patiently waiting for an active family, couple or even a single person who is looking for a Best Friend to share their home with. Desi has the personality to fit into most situations as long as plenty of exercise and playtime are part of the daily routine. Desi has recently spent time in a home with a volunteer to see how she behaved. The volunteer reported that Desi was very well behaved & spent most of her time playing with as many toys as she could find. Desi made herself comfy on the couch but got right down when asked to. Desi was allowed to explore each room but was more interested in playing  some ball! This "Gentle Giant" brought  back every toy that was tossed and practically laid it in the volunteers hand. Desi did not destroy anything or attempt to get in the trash the entire time. This happy go lucky young lady did very well on the cable run outside and was curious of her new surroundings. Desi is very alert and aims to Please and spent her last few minutes of her visit laying on the floor across the volunteers lap with her head in the volunteers hand sleeping!
