Dog Adoption Event & Dog Food Drive! in Kalamazoo, Michigan

On Sept. 14th from 2-4 p.m. Canine Safe Harbor is hosting our monthly Dog Adoption Event. Along with this event will be a Dog Food Drive! We are located at xxxx W KL Ave. just 1 1/4 mi. west of the Dog Park on KL & 8th st. We will have orange & white signs posted in the area to follow. We are happy to know that alot of people like to lend a helping hand by donating to a "Good Cause" but don`t know how to go about it, so we are including anyone who is interested in helping us help the dogs at our shelter. If you cannot make this event you may drop off food at the above address during the hours of 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. (noon) or 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. 7 days a week. We like to provide good quality food for our dogs and ask for Adult Purina Dog Chow, Purina One Lg. Breed Adult, Purina Lg. Breed Puppy Pedigree Puppy. These have NO food coloring added. All donations are welcome & all of us at CSH Thank You! If you can make this event here are just a few dogs available for adoption! Caiison..adult..male..Cane Corso Mastiff. Due to Caiison`s breed, he is already a Big Boy! He is learning to walk on a leash & is still enjoying his puppyhood. Caiison is very sweet & is a joy to play with. An active lifestyle suits him just fine. Frankie..adult..male..Maltese. This friendly fella loves his daily walks & gets along well with his pen mate. He is very approachable and would fit well into any home as long as there are no kitties for him to chase. Frankie is also hypoallergenic so if you suffer from allergies it wont be Frankies fault. Dusty..young..male..Chow Chow mix. Dusty loves human contact. He looks forward to his daily walks, belly rubs and a scratch or 2 behind his ears. Dusty is loyal but doesn`t ask for much. Tango..young..male..Cattle Dog. Named for his dancing ability, Tango loves to show off his "Cattle Dog Twirl!" Many of life`s experiences are new to Tango but we are sure that with some training & a family who loves him he will "Shine" like the brightest star! Snickers..young..female..Jack Russell mix. This beautiful little girl will show you how happy she is by doing the "vertical boing" as well as any Jack Russell. Snickers will get cozy in a lap if available but also loves her walks and what the outdoors has to offer.
