For Dog Lover`s Only! in Kalamazoo, Michigan

Canine Safe Harbor dog rescue is looking for dog lover`s who have spare time and would enjoy helping us by Volunteering to walk our dogs. Our #1 Volunteer priority is to make sure every dog get`s their daily walk twice a day. It is extremely important to the dogs and to us that they get the opportunity to get outside for some exercise and if the weather keeps them in they would love having someone just sit in their kennel and belly rub and snuggle with them or go to our "living room" to play! Our facility is located at the crest of a beautiful wooded area with well groomed, marked trails and 4 large outside kennels for playtime. Our dog`s are walked every morning at 9:00 a.m. and again at 6:00 p.m. 7 days a week. If you are  reliable and would like to help walk our dogs you will find a Volunteer Application on our website at CanineSafeHarbor.com. You must answer every question in order for the application to send. Your form will go directly to our volunteer coordinator who will contact you to set up a time for you to report for "Orientation" where you will begin doing something that is very rewarding, lot`s of fun and most of all YOU will make a difference in a shelter dog`s life! Once you become a "Volunteer" and decide you would like to HELP in other way`s you can become a part of our monthly Adoption Team and when needed we have other jobs become available that help with the upkeep of our shelter.
